Double Distilled captures the distillation process in the materials, deliberate and methodical speed of operation, as well as in the objects incorporated.

This installation includes 3 wooden rings and 2 separate tracks to the bottom.  It is constructed of copper funnels, clear glass marbles, stainless steel rods and transparent transmission cords. The outer 2 rings rings rotate very slowly in opposite directions and raise the marbles to the top. The clear marbles slowly descend along the stainless steel pathways, through the copper funnels and travel through 2, 1-ounce jiggers before returning by way of the lifts to the top for another run.
